Bangladesh Cardiac Society was established in 09.01.1984 by the active participation of renowned cardiologist and cardiac surgeons of this country in the premises of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The founder president of this society was Prof. Brig. A. Malik. At present the president of this society is Prof. M. Amanullah, MP and Secretary General is Prof. Khawaja Nasiruddin Mahmood. Now there are 373 life members and 60 general members.
